somehow I manage

Time thief! I accuse myself. I often steal time from 80 year old Rachel by buying that extra thing that I never needed or used that ends up going to the Goodwill one day.

This year, I would like to spend a little more time planning so I can waste a little less time. That might mean relying on Frank a little less and asking him to do fewer things since what ends up happening is me waiting on him and no time is actually saved at all.

Now this year, I read Someday is Today, and while I don't agree with everything the author writes, I find some value in some of the things he says. While driving a long commute and traffic in LA can be a waste of time, if it is a special occasion, it is worthwhile to me because that is actually how I want to use my time.

I think I can also accomplish moving with a little more urgency for the sake of 1) making things more fun/into a game, 2) reducing the time spent doing the boring thing like cleaning, 3) having thus more time to do the things I want to do (read in the park).

So today, I want to try timing myself while I clean and see how much I can accomplish in 10 minutes.
