this week the trend
A life audit and some recent reflections and wins to celebrate.
Here are some things that are going well within my work and my life:
Slept early like a real adult (10pm and felt great).
Tried timing myself while I cleaned and see how much I can accomplish in 10 minutes.
Did a 7 mile river hike to start training for the 10+miles a day I need to hike in high altitude to make my one day dream a reality.
Did 35 squats this week while in line for the bathroom at a restaurant.
Quit one thing to simplify my life which is not being on my phone from wake up until 10am.
I tried to hold my tongue instead of backseat driving.
Sometimes take breaks between working (mostly due to my ADHD), which is something I want to do more without getting completely derailed, so that I can give my eyes and arms a rest
I have been writing blog posts everyday, when it strikes my fancy, and having a backlog of posts so I feel ahead of the game and don't have to write everyday
Working in intervals of 10 minutes to start something or make progress without getting overwhelmed has been working for me.
Some things that aren't working for me:
1) Last month I didn't food prep or work out as much as I would have liked
2) Posture hasn't been great lately
3) I would clean randomly and feel overwhelmed by the mess in the house
4) I would sleep late and wake up late and then feel like crap
So today, I'll take some time to reflect on my coming week so I can schedule in some time to hit my goals for this month.
