I have a confession to make. Sometimes, I buy back ups of things before I am even close to running out of them. I currently have several unopened bags of loose leaf tea, 2 full sized bags of dark chocolate pretzels, and you get my drift. 

That doesn't sound too bad, you say? Well, my problem is that I like trying out new things. So why exactly did I buy a bunch of the same thing I liked when I would much rather prefer a variety pack or a tapas style of dining?

We started a tradition a while back that instead of birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, or anniversary gifts, that we would travel instead. And that tradition has led to some amazing trips and definitely more travel than what we would have done ordinarily.

I am trying to use up things faster than I buy them, and have been trying to buy less overall and I'll be documenting that journey here.
