Someone making soup? | Day 15 of 90
Last few food adventures on the East coast before we headed back:
The Spanish tapas and paella were super rich and heavy so we took leftovers home but weren't able to finish them before the flight :( Mike's Pastry was very delicious and definitely a place I would want to revisit. The fancy dark hot chocolate was a bit bitter for me but I would love to try the white chocolate next time! Joe's Pizza was amazing but we were pretty full since we grabbed it after lunch so we just shared one very delicious slice.
We grabbed some Chinese food for dinner because it started to pour! Driving in the rain was not fun and the food unfortunately had quite a bit of MSG. Leftovers again which we ate for breakfast the next day, along with our last Verve coffee before going to the airport.
Went to a few airport lounges, the one in Boston was just ok, with a little bit of Italian wedding soup and some hummus. We unfortunately were dawdling a bit and they ended up calling our names over the announcements because they were very on time and efficient with their boarding process!
After the hour and half flight, we landed in Baltimore, which had a very fancy Chase airport lounge in Baltimore with lots of food options although we weren't quite hungry yet and were meeting my friend during our 3 hour layover.
We headed out of the airport to a nearby Starbucks and it started to hail! We ate some Indian food that she cooked just for us and quickly caught up before we headed back to the our gate. Frank had to throw away a brand new can of Spindrift that he couldn't finish before we boarded since he had put 2 other cans in his water bottle. Silly.
