My opponent? None other than Lucifer himself.

So, what strategy would my opponent be rooting against?

Prayer, reading the Bible, going to church, starting again, all things I haven't been doing. So he's definitely been succeeding in a big way there.

What would my opponent least want me to do?

Ask for help, accept grace and start over afresh again, share my struggles honestly. Pray with my husband.

What they hope to achieve?

Defeat, cynicism toward God and Christianity and the church. Worldliness and a self centered focus, a turn toward materialism and moral relativism. Have small private faith.

What are they rooting against?

Humility and love for God and other people, suffering for the sake of the gospel and honesty.

Matthew says, offer them the opposite of what they want and then do all those things, every time.

Pretty sound advice and food for thought. I would like to incorporate this into my life starting today.
