Meet my eye line! | Day 9 of 10

Checking in on my 2025 goals and recapping how they are going as of June!

PERSONAL FITNESS

1. Go to the Sauna in the morning or on cold days when I don't have pickleball.

It's been hot this summer so I haven't used it yet on the hot days, but we've had a few chilly days mixed in where I've reached for the sauna!

2. Play pickleball once a week with friends and with Frank.

Going twice a week and hoping to increase the days I go with friends!

3. Finish CG 5 day weightlifting program

Finished 2 out of 7 days but getting back into it this month!

4. 12 hour + Intermittent Fast for 6 months, starting with 30 days

My plan is Instant Hydration until 12pm, and then coffee and a smoothie and my last meal finished by 6pm.

5. Complete 3 Stepbets (8-10k steps a day)

6. Complete 3 more Stepbets (8-10k steps a day)

WRITING and reading

7. Finish 1 book a month

Went to 2 Silent Book Clubs last week and listened to an entire book on the plane! Really happy that I crushed this goal and will definitely up the ante next year. My next goal is to finish reading Outlive and The Happiness Project. I'll also be sure to better plan my books to read on my upcoming flights for training.

8. Write a blog post everyday so I get in the habit of writing.

9. Finish the New Testament

Bible Study is starting back up again in September!

10. Clean and declutter for 15 minutes a day

The goal:

  1. Consign and donate clothes in donate bin
    1. Step one is done!! 
  2. Donate anything no longer wanted
    1. Step 2 is done!! Meredith helped me drop stuff off at Goodwill!
  3. Tackle each room in the house
    1. Guest room is done 
    2. Pantry is done
    3. Master Bedroom is next!
    4. Living Room
    5. Garage 
This is going to be a project that I tackle during the next Mercury Retrograde!

11. Pan 2 lipsticks

Making lots of progress except for the fact that I have misplaced one of the lipsticks I am panning so I need to find that. Meanwhile, I have been working on using my lip gloss daily.

12. Pan a blush

FINALLY HIT PAN!!! WOOHOOO!!

13. Pan a perfume

Lots of usage here as well, took a short break but I am back to putting on Vanillary everyday when I sit down at my desk, so I am hoping to finish it up by next month.

14. Finish up 3 containers of tea before Summer

Done!!!

FAMILY/FRIENDS

15. Plan our 2025 trips

First trip of the year to Disneyland was a success! Going back for training and then planning a trip to the Bay Area to see Sera and maybe visit Ellice as well!

16. Cook a new recipe once a week (and write about it)

Frank is doing gluten free for a month so we have been eating lots of potatoes instead this month!

17. Take a Glass fusing class

No update on the collab yet

18. Do the splits

Weather has been so warm but I have hot yoga on my list to get back to!

19. Finish my first pair of socks!

Done!!! Almost done with Frank's socks, finished my first tunisian crochet shawl, and planning on starting a sweater!

20. Make my first garment

Taking a shirt making class after I bought my first sewing machine!

21. Make a baby quilt for Sera

Taking a beginners quilting class and this is my first project! Also planning on making a quilted jacket.

22. Organize all of my random notes (270 of them) into 1 system

Still in progress and I need to spend some time organizing my brain dumps on a daily and weekly basis.

23. Post my progress regarding these resolutions on this blog on the first day of every month.  

I ended up editing some of my goals that I just wasn't interested in pursuing with the intention of trying my best to reach all of my goals this year! 12/23 is really great and I'm feeling motivated for the next update!
