No, no, it's better than fantastic. It's super perfect. | Day 6 of 10

Big update. HUGE. I weighed in at 135.8 today!!!!

I was 141 in April, and I am down 6 lbs!! That is huge!!! 

I can't really put my finger on the reason why but I think it has to do with eating less gluten and fewer carbs in general and trying to make myself eat more protein.

There is a chance I was not eating enough calories in the past, and as I am trying to eat more calories now, the pounds are falling off!! I haven't changed too much with my workout routine or diet, if anything, I have just been trying to drink more water because it's been so hot. 

I am going to try to keep up the momentum with intermittent fasting but am really pleased with the win!! We are going to Disney World later this month, so hoping to not gain too many pounds during our trip but also going to focus on enjoying ourselves.

We've also eaten out quite a bit in the past week and I haven't completely cut off gluten so I can't quite figure out what it is!

This is the lowest I've weighed since I got married in 2022 when I still fit into my wedding dress which I wasn't able to fit in when we were in Germany in December, just 6 months ago!

I can't believe I am down 6 lbs since 3 months ago and more than 13 lbs down from when I used to work at Krav Maga 2 years ago. 

More to come in the next few days but just wanted to reflect on the blog post I had written on March 28, just 3 months ago:

* If you fast-forward 3 months, what's the one accomplishment that would make you say "this quarter was a success"?

    * Losing 5 lbs and doing the splits

If I could look back in 3 months and see that every time I went on a walk, every time I practiced the splits led to the moment at the end of the quarter where I am at 135 lbs and able to do the splits, I would be shocked.

But I think that if I actually commit and I am consistent, that I would get a lot closer than I think and that I would actually enjoy the process too.

So, let's try, I want to surprise myself and I want to go for it.
