Since I set my 2025 goals on my birthday last year, I am going to be doing the same thing where we are starting our 2026 goals in December after my birthday so I have a full year!
PERSONAL FITNESS
1. Go to the Sauna in the morning or on cold days when I don't have pickleball.
It's finally getting cold so it's time to break out the sauna again!! I've been doing a lot of salt baths after workouts.
2. Play pickleball once a week with friends and with Frank.
Going twice a week and hoping to increase the days I go with friends!
3. Work out with The Great Clock In - 6 Week Weightlifting Program
I've been working out with my personal training and doing this program on the days I don't have PT and running in between those days! Frank even worked out with me too! 3 weeks in so far!
4. Decrease Body Fat Percentage and Gain 4 lbs of Muscle
Did my InBody Scan since last month (Oct 14) and I've been working out for the past 2 weeks! I am back to where I was last year with 30% body fat and I've gained back my 4 lbs of muscle I've lost! So to adjust this goal a bit, I would like to decrease my body fat % to 28% before the end of the year and gain 4 more lbs of muscle while losing weight.
5. Walk 5 miles a day, starting with Stepbet
Did Stepbet and have been walking and cleaning everyday for the past 6 weeks!
6. Complete 3 Stepbets (8-10k steps a day)
7. Complete 3 more Stepbets (8-10k steps a day)
WRITING and reading
8. Finish 1 book a month

BSF has been difficult for me to go to because of work but I've been doing my devotions everyday!

11. Clean and declutter for 20 minutes a day
The goal: Clean with Frank everyday for 20 minutes with a timer! I want to do this more consistently as a part of our daily routine.
Consign and donate clothes in donate bin- Step one is done!!
Donate anything no longer wanted- Step 2 is done!! Meredith helped me drop stuff off at Goodwill!

16. Plan our 2025 trips
First trip of the year to Disneyland was a success! Went back to Florida for 2 weeks of training and going back in November for a fun trip with Sarah. Planning on visiting Ellice in December/January and then back to Florida in April 2026!
17. Cook a new recipe once a week (and write about it)
Took a little break from cooking but getting back into it!
18. Take a Glass fusing class
No update on the collab yet
19. Do the splits
I've been trying to remember to stretch after my work outs and I'll maybe try to do some stretch videos too.
20. Finish my first pair of socks!
Finished my second Tunisian crochet shawl which was a gift to my mother in law and working on my finishing up my sweater!
21. Make my first garment
Taking a shirt making class after I bought my first sewing machine! This is on pause since I've been so busy with work!
22. Make a baby quilt for Sera
Almost done with my first quilt!!
23. Organize all of my random notes (270 of them) into 1 system
Still in progress but this time I had the bright idea of using ChatGPT to do a first pass through with great success! It helped me to go through the lists when it felt more like editing. I'm going to work on organizing my brain dumps on a weekly basis.
24. Post my progress regarding these resolutions on this blog on the first day of every month.
Finished the year strong with 21/24 goals completed!! Working on my new goals for 2026 and finishing up some of the goals from this year as well.
